At Impact Gymsport Academy, we love celebrating the achievements and progress of our gymnasts through a range of exciting club events. From competitions and showcases to festivals and prizegivings, our events are designed to bring the gymnastics community together, encourage friendly competition, and recognize the dedication and effort of every participant. Whether your child is just starting out or competing at a high level, there’s an event to suit every gymnast and family.
Impact GfA Competition
Our Impact-hosted GfA Competition provides gymnasts with the opportunity to compete in a friendly, supportive environment, test their skills, and experience the excitement of performing under competition conditions. Coaches and families celebrate each child’s achievements, while participants gain confidence, motivation, and new skills.
GfA in the Bay Competition
The GfA in the Bay Competition is co-hosted with Argos Gymsport and Te Puke Gymsport and held at Argos. This collaborative event brings together gymnasts from multiple clubs, offering friendly inter-club competition and a chance to meet new friends, learn from peers, and celebrate the sport across the Bay of Plenty.
Impact Schools Festival Competition
Our Schools Festival Competition is a fantastic event for school-aged gymnasts to showcase their abilities in a fun and inclusive setting. Designed to encourage participation and teamwork, this festival combines gymnastics challenges with festival-style activities, creating a positive experience for both beginners and more experienced participants.
Impact End of Year GfA Showcase & Prizegiving
The End of Year GfA Showcase & Prizegiving celebrates the accomplishments of our recreational gymnasts across all levels. Families are invited to watch gymnasts perform their routines, participate in fun demonstrations, and enjoy a special prizegiving ceremony recognizing progress, effort, and achievement throughout the year.
Impact End of Year Competitive Prizegiving
Our End of Year Competitive Prizegiving is a highlight for gymnasts in our competitive pathways. The event celebrates skill, dedication, and commitment over the competitive season, with awards for achievements, standout performances, and personal growth. Gymnasts and families come together to reflect on successes and set goals for the year ahead.
Whānau Open Day - Saturday 2nd May! 10am to 12pm
Join us for our Whānau Open Day, held once each term on the last weekend before term starts! This is a free, fun-filled day where families can come along and explore the gym together. Coaches will be stationed around the equipment to guide, support, and inspire children of all ages as they try out bars, beams, trampolines, and more. It’s a fantastic way to discover gymnastics, practice skills, and enjoy active family time. Grab a friend and come along to our next Open Day - we can’t wait to see you there!
