1. Enrolment & Registration

How do I enrol my child in a class?
Families can enrol through our online portal. We offer beginner and recreational classes for all ages.

Can my child do a trial class?
Yes! Trial classes can be booked any day of week 1 or 2 of term (depending on availability) and are a great way for your child to try a class before committing.

What if my child starts partway through a term?
Fees are pro-rated based on the number of weeks remaining.

2. Class Options & Levels

What classes are available for my child’s age?
We offer age-based classes from toddlers upwards. Check the portal for the latest class availability. Some classes fill quickly, so early registration is recommended.

Can my child move to a different class or level?
Yes! We monitor skill development and may suggest changes. Voluntary changes during a term incur a $20 admin fee, with some exceptions (e.g., class cancellations).

Are socks allowed on equipment like the beam?
For safety reasons, we ask children not to wear socks on the beam.

Do you offer beginner gymnastics classes for kids with no experience?
Yes - our beginner gymnastics classes are designed specifically for children with no previous experience. We focus on building confidence, coordination, and basic gymnastics skills in a fun and supportive environment.

3. Fees & Payments

How are fees calculated?
Fees are charged on an 8-week term basis, in line with government primary school term dates. Full payment is required to confirm a place.

What if my child misses classes?
Fees are not reduced for absences due to sickness, injury, or other reasons. Exceptions may apply for long-term sickness or injury (4+ weeks with a medical certificate and Centre Manager approval).

Holiday programs
Refunds are only offered for cancellations with a medical certificate; a $20 admin fee applies.

4. Workshops & Extra Training

Are there extra sessions available?
Occasionally, optional workshops may be offered to help children refine specific skills. They are not compulsory, and costs vary per session.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Can I cancel a term class?
Written cancellations received more than 7 days before term start are refunded minus a $30 admin fee. Less than 7 days’ notice or non-attendance is non-refundable.

What about early departures, late arrivals, or missed classes?
No refunds or discounts are offered for missed sessions, arriving late, or leaving early.

7. General Questions

What should my child wear to class?
Comfortable gymnastics attire is recommended. Hair should be tied back. No jewellery.

How long are gymnastics classes?
Class lengths vary depending on age and level. Preschool classes are shorter, while older and more advanced classes run for longer to allow for full skill development and training.

Can parents watch gymnastics classes?
Yes - parents are welcome to watch most classes from designated viewing areas. For some sessions, especially for older or more advanced groups, limited viewing may apply to help gymnasts stay focused.

What equipment will my child use in gymnastics?
Gymnasts train on a range of equipment including floor, beam, bars, vault, and trampoline/tumble track. All equipment use is supervised and adapted to suit age and ability level.
